As a reminder, while final judgments are automatically recorded, if you wish to re-record a certified copy of a final judgment as a lien, you must obtain the certified copy and pay the appropriate recording fee.Failure to record an order or judgment does not affect its validity or its ability to bind the parties to the case. Should you wish to record an order that is not an order of dismissal, you may do so by presenting the order for recordation and paying the appropriate recording fee.
